Family Portrait Recreations.

Christine H McConnell is an artist based in Los Angeles, CA. She recreated portraits of the females in her family going back two hundred years. In each photo the ancestor is on the left, and Christine is on the right. It’s a very interesting experiment in how families pass down certain features throughout the generations. She recreated photos of 7 generations of family members. Check them out below.

What’s more impressive than the photographs is the fact that Christine was able to find such remarkably similar outfits to match every single photograph. She must live near the best Goodwill ever.
