MARCH TWELVE

SINCERITY, kindness, and trustworthiness often carry a man to honorable success more rapidly and surely than the possession of brilliant talents. It is inspiring to observe how some men have marched steadily forward toward large achievement, not because of conspicuous ability, but as a result of patient, definite, conscientious effort.

Hence it is that some men of great promise accomplish so little, while others who are quiet, restrained, self-aware, and diligent, achieve astonishing results. The world has placed a high valuation upon certain cardinal qualities of character, and he who possesses these in fullest degree will ultimately be most highly honored. Right character is the product of right thoughts.
