March Twenty Seven

YOUR intellect grows through use. You can not acquire knowledge by proxy. You must store your mind with fundamental truths, and work out your own mental problems. Develop the habit of clear, logical thinking, and dig deeply to founding truths and principles.

Have a direct, definite, daily plan for mental enrichment. Feed your mind upon the thoughts of the world’s great thinkers. Make good use of spare moments to develop new and useful ideas.

Books give you the materials of knowledge, but wisdom must come largely from within yourself. Meditate upon what you read. Daily reflect upon what you have done, and intend to do. Carefully examine your present methods, and seek to improve them. Cultivate studious habits.
