FEBRUARY TWENTY SEVEN

CONVERSATION is a form of self-revelation. In conversation you unconsciously disclose your strengths and weaknesses, your virtues and idiosyncrasies. The very freedom of conversation takes you off your guard and exposes you to the keen scrutiny of others. Hence the importance of carefully guarded speech.

Study your manner and method of speaking. Train your voice in the qualities of purity, resonance, and power. Enunciate clearly, and pronounce accurately. Choose your words carefully.

Strive to constantly improve your style of speaking, and realize each conversation is an opportunity to develop self-discipline. Focus on pleasant, helpful, interesting subjects, and use each conversation to improve your conversational skills and connect with others.
